Clearwater Man Arrested After Throwing Chicken At Sister During Argument

Clearwater, FL - A Clearwater man has been arrested for battery after throwing pieces of fried chicken at his sister during an argument on Sunday.

According to the Clearwater Police Department, 20-year-old Khanye Medley faces battery charges after police say he grabbed a bag of Church's Chicken during a heated argument with his sister on the 1100 block of Kingsley Street.

An arrest affidavit details how Medley allegedly hurled two pieces of chicken at his sibling, with one hitting her back and leaving food debris on her shoulders.

Following a Miranda warning, Medley reportedly confessed to the chicken-based assault.

He claimed he was upset because his sister hadn't offered him any chicken, but that explanation wasn't enough to avoid charges.

While Medley has since been released from Pinellas County custody, he'll likely face a judge for his unusual act of poultry-related aggression.
